We are looking for a motivated and dependable part-time grant writer. Duties include preparation of proposals, grant applications, reports, research, producing high quality work and meeting deadlines. Excellent communcation and interpersonal skiills, ability to telecommute a plus, can commit from 5-10 hours a week. Experience in research and writing grant applications - Federal, State, City, Corporate, and Foundation is essential.

Internships
Freehold has internships available in three areas: administrative work, and facilities, and development. Internships last one quarter, and the schedule is flexible.  All interns are offered tuition remission for one class per quarter minus a required $75.00 deposit for the class. 

We are also currently looking for a Marketing intern to work with us for the upcoming Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters.  The position would primarily consist of posting promotional content around Seattle and online and assisting our PR Manager with additional marketing tasks.  For additional inquiries or to submit a cover letter and resume for this particular internship, please email kate@freeholdtheatre.org.  For all others, please email info@freeholdtheatre.org with the title of the specific internship in the subject line.
 

  • Administration:  Applicants should have some experience in using computers and Microsoft Office, as well as with filing and mailing. Tasks include flyer distribution, data entry, and filing.
     
  • Facilities:  Applicants should have some experience in cleaning, maintenance or construction. Interns will assist Freehold's Technical Director  with facilities projects, including light maintenance, repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of light and sound equipment.
     
  • Development:  Applicants should have experience in using computers and Microsoft Office. Duties may include seeking sponsorship for Freehold events, tracking and cataloging items donated for Freehold's annual auction, or researching new grant opportunities.
