Expanding the Impact of Our Engaged Theatre Program:
Creating new works like hidden/current, a work by playwrights from three continents, that tells three interwoven stories. Jen Moore, actor and musician shares,“It is a gander into the unknown…Working with the Xhosa actors and the folks from Iran has helped to highlight the nuance of the differences, but even larger the fact that this is a global issue in dealing with gender-based violence.”

Providing programs and residencies that serve over 500 individuals incarcerated or in inpatient care around the area. Carter Rodriquez, residency facilitator, explains,”The stories [from residents] connect us to the deepest parts of our humanity…It’s really what we’re reaching for: the largest possible sense of the power of art.”

Growing Our Connection: Providing ongoing programs, including our Artist Residency Program, Studio Performances, and maintaining our affordable and professional rental spaces, while actively fostering an environment of continual growth and welcoming fresh perspectives.

Supporting Artists: Employing over 40 artists, including teaching artists in our classes and residencies, as well as over 20 artists for our most recent production, hidden/current.
